The US will sell Saudi Arabia F-15 fighter jets without long-range weapons and other advanced weaponry, as a result of Israeli pressure, Israel Radio reported Monday morning citing a Wall Street Journal report.

According to the report, the $30 billion defense package planned for distribution over 10 years is one of the biggest of its kind. Officials conveyed their concern to the US repeatedly, explaining that if advanced weaponry is supplied to other countries, Israel's military advantage in the region would be diminished.
