Rita Abramov, wife of alleged cult leader, attempts suicide

Rita Abramov, wife of recently deceased alleged cult leader Shai Abramov, attempted to kill herself on Wednesday at the Ramle district police headquarters.

Shai Abramov, leader of the suspected cult the "Ithaka Group," committed suicide in prison two weeks ago.

Rita Abramov was found in the restroom of the Ramle police station after attempting to slit her wrists. Police officers treated her on the scene and she was brought to an area hospital in Rishon Lezion.
