Seven Palestinians were wounded after a mortar launched from Gaza failed to cross into Israeli territory and landed inside the Hamas-run enclave, Palestinian media reported.

A red alert siren was heard in an open area near Kerem Shalom a short time after 8 p.m. on Wednesday."A projectile was launched from the Gaza strip that did not cross the border," the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said.
