Romney, Obama focus on economy, energy in town hall debate

The first part of the town hall presidential debate on Tuesday focused on energy policy, with Republican candidate Mitt Romney attacking the US president on his record on oil, natural gas and coal.
Romney chided the president, saying Obama was not "Mr. Coal, Mr. Gas, Mr. Oil."
Obama responded that Romney's energy plan would do nothing for US energy independence and would risk destroying thousands of jobs.
