Samaria Regional Council Mayor Gershon Mesika appealed to Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz on Tuesday with a request to launch an investigation into several left-wing organizations that gave material to the UN committee probing the IDF's Operation Cast Lead in Gaza. Mesika said that the move was likely to harm Israel's security, and said the question of whether the organizations violated IDF Censor regulations should be examined.
