Soccer: Israel defeated 4:1 by Uruguay in Montevideo

In their first game with new national coach Luis Fernandez, Israel lost a friendly game against Uruguay, early Thursday morning, 4 goals to 1 in Montevideo.
Diego Forlan scored for Uruguay after 15 minutes, Rafaelov got an equalizer for Israel in the 30th minute but six minutes later Pereira put the home side back in the lead. In the second half, the final result was never in doubt, and Abreu of Uruguay scored twice in the 75th and 81st minute.
No yellow or red cards were issued in the match.
