Social protesters clash with police outside TA City Hall

Approximately 200 people protested outside Tel Aviv City Hall on Wednesday afternoon, in anger over the municipality breaking down tent cities across the city earlier in the day.
The protest turned violent as demonstrators tried to force their way into City Hall. Some threw eggs and other objects at the building. Others then blocked Ibn Gvirol street, stopping traffic in the area.
The protesters clashed with policemen as the latter attempted to subdue them. Several people were reportedly arrested.
