Soldier who died during IDF training named Yehoshua Hefetz

The IDF soldier killed during trials for an elite unit in southern Israel was named Yehoshua Hefetz, the IDF spokesman stated in a press release.

The soldier collapsed during tryouts for acceptance to one of the IDF's elite units. He was rushed to a hospital in Eilat where he was pronounced dead.

Hefetz was 19 years old.
