State to appeal against conviction of Anat Pliner murder

The State Attorney's Office filed an appeal on Wednesday against the sentence imposed on the minor convicted of murdering attorney Anat Pliner.
Pliner, a real estate attorney, was brutally stabbed at the door of her Ramat Hasharon home in 2006 by a 15-year-old youth.
Pliner's killer was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 18 years imprisonment in July. The prosecution had requested the maximum penalty for murder, life imprisonment.
