Steinitz slams 'irresponsible' media reports on Prisoner X

Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz called the media reports on Prisoner X Ben Zygier and other such cases "irresponsible" in an interview with Israel Radio on Wednesday morning.

"I am concerned by the downpour of media reports, some of which are irresponsible, in these topics. There are things that, really, are better left unsaid," he said.

"Everything that is done [in Israel], is done with the court's approval. All of these reports on Ben Zygier and others are not good or healthy to Israel's security," he added.
