GENEVA- Preparatory talks on a Syria conference expected to be held in Geneva next month ended on Wednesday without agreement on Iran's participation, a bone of contention between world powers, a diplomatic source said.

Another round of the US-Russia preparatory talks, hosted by UN envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, will reconvene on June 25, the source told Reuters.
