A 19-year-old gay resident of Tel Aviv was allegedly kidnapped by members of his own family who attacked him and his boyfriend and sprayed them with pepper spray.

Four residents of the Lower Galilee village of Tamra, who are close relations of the man, were arrested Wednesday after they tracked the victim down in his Tel Aviv home and requested to hide him in one of their houses in the village.

Tel Aviv Magistrates Court was expected to extend the remand of the four suspects.
