Three haredi youths were arrested several weeks ago on suspicion of stabbing an Arab resident of Jerusalem last December in an incident that bears the hallmarks of a nationalistic attack, police announced on Tuesday. Two of the suspects are minors from Safed and Beit Shemesh, respectively, while the third suspect is from Emmanuel, police said. The suspects, who confessed to the stabbing, were due to be brought to the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court for a remand extension hearing later Tuesday.
