Tiberias mayor charged with hacking comptroller's computer

The Nazareth Magistrates Court indicted Tiberias Mayor Zohar Oved and Avner Sharon, the CEO of a data recovery software company, for breaking into the city comptroller's computer.
The mayor was reportedly trying to retrieve files concerning the comptroller's auditing of his conduct. The two allegedly copied data from the municipal server and three employees' computers without consent.
The two men were charged with conspiring to commit a crime, invasion of privacy, and hacking a personal computer.
