The Palestinian Authority leadership is trying to perpetuate the conflict with Israel and avoid a deal because they don't believe in Israel's existence, Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon told Israel Radio on Monday.

Ya'alon said that the PA refused to accept the Quartet proposal in recent preparatory peace talks, which he claimed they attended against their will. Palestinians are doing whatever they can to avoid real negotiations, he said, setting preconditions for high-level talks.
