Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon on Friday blasted the UN Human Rights Council's decision to adopt a resolution critical of Israel during last summer's Gaza war, saying the move was "absurd."

He said that the actions of the UNHRC "have become a farce," condemning it "even more so as this decision was made while Israel is once again under fire from an extreme Islamic terror organization."
