Yesh Atid MK: Only possible peace agreement includes e. J'lem as Palestinian capital

Yesh Atid MK Ofer Shelah said on Monday night that he believes a peace accord with the Palestinians could only be possible based on the 1967 borders, and with east Jerusalem as the Palestinian capital, Army Radio reported on Tuesday morning.

"I can't see a possible accord with the Palestinians that is not based on the '67 borders, and in which the Palestinians cannot call east Jerusalem their capital," he said.

This statement stands in contradiction to his party's official stance, that puts the unity of Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty above all.
