The IDF said that the riot was the second in the West Bank over the past two days. Over the weekend, 50 demonstrators gathered in a closed military zone in Hebron, and were dispersed by IDF soldiers. Three demonstrators were arrested.

Later on Sunday, Border Police arrested two Palestinians aged 24 and 13 on suspicion that they threw stones at border security forces and Beit Yehonatan in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan.

No injuries were reported and no damage was caused.

Dozens of Palestinians gathered around a border police jeep because of the arrests, but quickly dispersed.
