Two rockets fired from Gaza hit southern Israel

Rockets hit open areas of Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council, no injuries or damage; latest in string of rocket attacks.

Two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip fell in southern Israel in  the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council on Saturday before midnight.
The rockets landed in open areas and there was no damage reported.
A rocket launched toward southern Israel by Gaza terrorists exploded in open territory near the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council.
Saturday's attacks were the latest in a string of rocket firings emanating from the Palestinian enclave over the past week.
On Friday night, the Iron Dome rocket defense system successfully intercepted a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip over the southern city of Ashkelon on Thursday evening.
The Israel Air Force retaliated against both rocket attacks  on Friday with targeted strikes on terror sites in Gaza.
