LONDON – The exclusive 2012 Sheikh Raed Salah calendar is now available for the
first time. The calendar is adorned with pictures done by the leader of the
northern branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel during his time in a British
prison after he entered the country illegally.
It is available for £6 and
a £3 delivery charge from the Middle East Monitor, an anti-Israel organization
that helped bring Salah to the UK and sponsors anti- Israel events in

completed a series of artworks which we have compiled into a

Umm el-Fahm, lost his appeal against deportation in November and was set to be

banned from entering the country. Before his arrest, the activist spoke at a
number of anti- Israel events.
Salah appealed the original deportation
order issued by Home Secretary Theresa May, who deemed that he was not conducive
to the public good. He was granted bail in July, on a surety of $49,000, while
he awaited the deportation hearing.
An immigration tribunal concluded in
October that Salah had engaged in “the unacceptable behavior of fostering
hatred” that might lead to inter-community violence in the UK.
