Darfur peacekeepers and rebels say Sudanese troops have clashed with rebels in northern Darfur.
Rebels from the Sudan Liberation Army and SLA-Unity said Friday over 30 government vehicles overtook a rebel base in the remote Helf region overnight.
SLA rebel commander Mohammed Abdullah said his group will retaliate.
