'Wonder Woman' Gal Gadot to host 'Saturday Night Live'

Israeli superstar Gal Gadot will host an episode of Saturday Night Live’s 43rd season on October 7.
According to Variety, this will be Gadot’s first appearance on the New York-based NBC sketch comedy show. The musical guest will be British star Sam Smith.
Gadot was this summer’s queen of the box office, and her film, Wonder Woman, was its highest grossing film and the second highest grossing film of 2017. These successes merited the announcement of a sequel, Wonder Woman 2, which is to debut in December 2019.
Wonder Woman is also the first live action movie directed by a woman to gross more than $400 million in the United States and $800m. world-wide.
Wonder Woman is part of the DC Extended Universe film collection. The DCEU also includes Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad. Of all these films, only Wonder Woman was a critical success. All the films were financial successes, but Wonder Woman has a certified fresh rating on the website Rotten Tomatoes of 92%.
