Gadot included a picture of the whole family, including the new arrival, with a caption saying "I couldn't be more happy (and tired)."
The film's point is that we should all be grateful for what we have, no matter what that is, which could have been delivered in at least 40 fewer minutes.
"Here we go again," the Wonder Woman star announced on social media.
While “Wonder Woman 1984” was released on HBO Max as well as in theaters on Friday, the next installment will have a more traditional theatrical release.
A live watch party will be hosted by HBO scheduled for Saturday in which viewers can join in with star Gal Gadot and movie director Patty Jenkins.
"It's been one of the greatest joys in my life to play this character," said Gadot.
Also last week, the American Film Institute named Wonder Woman one of its top 10 films of the year. The movies will be honored at a special AFI luncheon on January 5.
"We never thought we'd have to hold onto the release for such a long time," Gadot tweeted, "but COVID rocked all of our worlds."
In light of all the delays, it seems wildly optimistic to think that Wonder Woman 1984 will stick to its June date.
AT&T’s WarnerMedia is in the final stages of deliberations over the fate of the film, which is currently scheduled to open in theaters on Christmas Day.
