The IDF at midnight Monday imposed a full closure on the West Bank. The measure will be in effect over Independence Day and will be lifted midnight Thursday.
One person was lightly wounded as a barrage of seven Kassam rockets slammed into Sderot and neighboring western Negev towns Monday morning.
The man was treated by an emergency medical team on site after he reported experiencing ringing in his ears.
According to media reports, a car and a building sustained damage.
One of the rockets landed near a kibbutz in the Sha'ar Hanegev region, another fell near a school and a third exploded near a factory.
The fourth rocket struck Sderot, damaging a sidewalk.
Security forces were still searching for three more Kassam rockets which landed in the area.
Earlier Monday, two rockets were fired at the Eshkol region. No one was wounded and no damage was reported in that attack.
Palestinian officials said a Gaza man was killed after a cross-border smuggling tunnel collapsed on him.
The Gaza Health Ministry said five more people were wounded in Monday's collapse and one is still missing. Security officials said the tunnel was under construction at the time.
Such collapses are common along the Gaza Strip's border with Egypt.
Smuggling tunnels in the area have become an important route for goods and a lucrative business. Palestinian smugglers use the tunnels to move weapons and contraband into Gaza.
