IDF Spokesman's Int'l Department relocates to J'lem's JCS building

The IDF Spokesman's International Department recently moved to the JCS building in downtown Jerusalem. The building is home to dozens of foreign news networks, including CNN, Fox News, BBC, ABC and AP. The department used to be located in Beit Sokolov in Tel Aviv and was transferred to Jerusalem to be close to the networks and provide a more effective service. The new center was used during the recent Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip during which senior commanders gave briefings to reporters in the JCS building.
