IDF troops on Saturday night were exchanged gunfire with Palestinian gunmen in the southern Gaza Strip.
There were no reports of wounded among the soldiers.
According to initial reports, two Palestinians approached the security fence south of Kissufim and opened fire at a group of paratroopers, who returned fire, forcing the attackers to flee.
