Kiryat Yam teen admits lying to police about being molested at knifepoint

A 19-year-old boy from Kiryat Yam admitted on Sunday evening that he had lied to police about being molested at knifepoint by a 23-year-old Shfaram resident, Army Radio reported.
According to the teen's confession, the sexual encounter between the two was consensual and occurred several weeks after they had met via the Internet.
Earlier in the day, the magistrate's court in the Haifa Bay area had extended the Shfaram man's remand by two days. However, following the teen's admission, he was released immediately.
