A 27-year-old resident of Taiba turned himself into police custody Sunday night, taking responsibility for a Sunday shooting in which 29-year-old Rami Hag-Yichia was killed.
According to police, the suspect shot Hag-Yichia in the road after Hag-Yichia had criticized his driving. The suspect claimed, however, that the bullet was accidentally discharged from his weapon.
The police will submit a request to the Netanya Magistrate's Court that the suspect be remanded.
