The Israeli government said Monday that it would not negotiate with the Palestinian kidnappers of IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit.
"There will be no negotiations to release prisoners," Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in a statement that held the Palestinians' ruling Hamas party responsible for the safe return Shalit.
