State Prosecutor Shendar to resign in summer

State Prosecutor Eran Shendar announced on Wednesday that he plans to resign from his post in the summer, after only three years of serving in the position. Shendar, who took over from former state prosecutor Edna Arbel in 2004, said that he was announcing his decision now so that a committee could be assembled to find a suitable replacement for the job.
