‘Nothing is easy here” is a common refrain in Israel and throughout the Middle East, where many of the comforts taken for granted and accepted as universal in the West have been relegated to four-letter-word status.So it is that building an entire industry from scratch in the world’s most volatile region might reasonably be expected to be an arduous process.
