San Francisco Senator Scott Wiener condemned anti-Israel protests, those of which anti-Zionist Jewish Voices for Peace planned to attend, at the Jewish Community Relations Council gala.

The protesters carried banners that said “Jews to Schumer: Stop funding genocide” as they linked arms outside Schumer’s office.
All protesters were ordered by officers to disperse before being taken into custody, and many protestors wore shirts saying "divest from genocide."
A university official said the groups have not yet agreed to adhere to university rules that would allow their reinstatement.
Tuesday's protesters at the United Nations carried banners that read "Biden: the world says ceasefire" and "Biden: Stop vetoing peace."
The event was subsequently canceled, per an announcement on social media platform X
US Capitol Police said they arrested 51 people in total as a result of the demonstration.
The protest groups said their actions were peaceful.
