Azerbaijan and Armenia have had a long-standing dispute over the enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh and violence has in recent years led to the deaths of dozens of soldiers.
Ukraine’s Petryk won the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The young artist received a total of 138 points with the song “Nebo”.
The Armenian Christian community in the Holy Land is the only community to celebrate Christmas on January 18 and 19 due to historical differences with other Orthodox denominations.
