This will be the two leaders’ third face-to-face meeting in seven months. During this same time period Netanyahu has met US President Barack Obama once.
The two were set to discuss pressing issues on the regional and global agendas, like the Palestinians and the conflict in Syria, among others.

Netanyahu's meeting with Putin focused mainly on the Israel's northern border, with fears of Hezbollah attaining lethal weapons in Syria with help from Iran.
Putin and Abbas last met in April in Moscow where the two discussed peace and security issues in the Middle East.
