The Dialogue Project, which runs meetings every week is where young haredi (ultra-Orthodox) men and women meet with secular youth and kibbutz members.
Hundreds of Israelis from all sectors of society will not just figuratively walk a mile in another person's shoes, but actually exchange positions and lives for one full day.
"Passerby stop and stare and we invite them to join us," said co-founder Yitzchok Meir Malek. "We want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy the day of rest."
