Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Extreme Ultra Firming Makeup supposedly helps improve elasticity for a more lifted, firmer, younger look.

Those of us with a pale complexion need a little help from makeup, even in summertime. Most foundations and powders these days don't only cover up blemishes and give you some color, but also have other qualities. Dior's Capture Totale High Definition Serum Foundation is a combination makeup and serum with anti-aging ingredients, containing a sun-protection factor of 15. The serum foundation in cameo was reported by our test subject to have a pleasant aroma and feel very light, and is therefore suitable for hot summer days. It gives the skin a nice, even complexion, covering up signs of aging. The price for a 30-ml. bottle is NIS 405.
Helena Rubinstein's Face Sculptor Makeup is a resculpting lift foundation which is supposed to make your skin look firmer. The foundation contains a sun protection factor of 18. The makeup in natural beige I sampled felt extremely pleasant, and made a noticeable difference in skin complexion, which got me several compliments. It won't give you a face-lift, but the color will last you through the day. Helena Rubinstein Face Sculptor Makeup is available in six shades, and costs NIS 350 for a 30-ml. bottle.
Some people prefer the powder versions of makeup to the fluid type, and it is certainly more practical to carry it around in your purse. Clarins Powder Stop Brilliance in beige transparent is a set powder that comes in an elegant metallic compact, complete with mirror. Our test subject reported it works well with the Clarins Rebalancing Lotion she uses. On the plus side, it's a fine powder that is easy to apply and blend, and leaves the skin matte without being cakey. However, the powder itself was thought to be a little too drying for her combination skin. The Clarins Truly Matte powder, available in the SuperPharm chain, is NIS 262 for 10 ml.
Revlon ColorStay Mineral Foundation is a bottle of makeup in powder form that is applied with a brush attached to the cap; with a twist of the cap, you can extend the full brush, which you then dip into the powder. To get the powder out requires a little practice, but the brush is big enough, and the powder is easily applied. The ColorStay Mineral Foundation in light medium provided a subtle coverage that didn't cake up, and it also gives some sun protection (SPF 10). The powder is available in five different shades and costs NIS 159.
Terracotta Spray Bronzing Powder Mist by Guerlain comes in aerosol spray form; it will quickly give some tan to even the palest of those among us. When I tried the spray that's supposed to be suitable for light skin on my own face, it came out way too dark and freaked out my husband. I quickly gave it to a friend, who's better at applying makeup. She thought it had a nice texture, if you smooth it down afterward with a makeup pad. It looks best when applied over a thin coat of other makeup, though. The Guerlain Terracotta Spray is also available in a medium shade, and is NIS 287 for a 75 ml. spray flacon.
A friend tried the BOAZ foundation in a very dark shade. She has been using this very dark makeup like a blusher, or mixing it in with lighter makeup to create a medium darkness. It applies smoothly and evenly and is recommended for very dark or tanned skin, but it is available in lighter shades as well. The price for a 35 ml. tube is NIS 167.
Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Extreme Ultra Firming Makeup, also with a sun protection factor of 15, supposedly helps improve elasticity for a more lifted, firmer, younger look. The fluid foundation was said to feel pleasant, and does give some moisture to your skin; the result was an even looking skin. The Resilience Lift Extreme is NIS 210 for 30 ml., and it is also available in a creamy powder version (NIS 230).
