American latino hip-hop band Cypress Hill will arrive in Israel for a single show in Tel Aviv on June 30. The multi-platinum group from Los Angeles, originally called DVX, is best known for its hits "How I Could Just Kill A Man" and "Insane in the Brain." Many of Cypress Hill's songs focus on social stratification, while others celebrate marijuana. Band member Muggs achieved infamy when he lit a joint on Saturday Night Live and caused a mini-riot on the set. Cypress Hill played on the first Smokin' Grooves tour with the Fugees, Ziggy Marley, Busta Rhymes and A Tribe Called Quest. More recently, the band has toured with Public Enemy, Wu-Tang Clan, Nas and Rage Against the Machine.
