Shavuot on your plate

This holiday is a time for dairy, both in the house and out.

While the cheesecakes were nothing special, the breads are terrific. The Bucharian bread with Emmental cheese and cumin was great even after a few days, when heated up in the toaster. The salty crunch, despite looking like a yeast cake, is filled with cheeses, olives and spices was terrific as well and polished off in seconds. Should sweet not be your thing, you can either go savory with a choice of quiches (try the sweet potato and onion), a variety of salty snacks and sugar-free desserts.
