I just got an iphone recently, and the first application that I went out looking for was instagr.am, a new picture sharing platform. I wanted it so badly because I kept seeing beautiful pictures that my friends were posting on facebook. The magic of instagram is in it''s simplicity- you snap a picture and then apply different filters like "1977" and "Nashville", and the pictures transform into works of art (seriously).
One of the coolest parts is that people post their pictures to their social networks, and this means that you get to see all the other pictures that people take.
