Growing up some more I got into westerns and made believe that I was the Lone Ranger. I had the complete outfit with the cap gun and hat and spurs and a badge. I even had some plastic silver bullets. I would sleep with Lone Ranger bedspreads and Lone Ranger curtains. I drank out of a Lone Ranger cup. Oh it was great to be a child making believe that I was a hero. Years passed and I grew up and the reality of life replaced those things in my life that were make-believe.
The Bible in the New Testament says when I was a child I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man I put away childish things. This is what happens in life. And every person knows what I am saying because at one time they were a child, making believe.
However there are some adults in the U.S. who have not yet grown into adulthood and started living in reality instead of make-believe. Sadly some of these persons are the ones who are now trying to bring the world into acceptance of a make-believe nuclear agreement with Iran. I will give you just three examples which will set off the make-believe meter.
The first make-believe moment comes from the words of John Kerry who the other day stated that Iran hasn't been seeking a bomb since the year 2003. Beep, Beep, Beep! There goes the make-believe meter. Both President Obama and President Netanyahu have agreed that if left alone Iran could have a bomb within a few months. How can this be if they hadn't been seeking one since 2003? Mr Kerry that is Make believe!
Second example is when Iran's Qued Commander Qassem Soleimani went to Russia against UN Security Council Resolution 1747. This man is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans. He went there to barter for missile defence systems. And the response from our government was we will have to see if he has done anything wrong? Beep, Beep, Beep, there goes the make-believe meter again. Of course he has. It is stated in the UN resolution. State Department that is Make Believe!
The last example comes again from the words of Mr. Kerry who stated recently that Iran could break some of the rules of the agreement but not break the agreement? Wait what? You can break the rules without breaking the agreement! Say what? BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. Sorry the make-believe meter just got stuck. The agreement is a document made up of pages upon pages of independent rules and statutes which make up the whole agreement. If you break any of the individual terms then the full agreement becomes a different document therefore needing a separate signature of agreement. Mr Kerry this again is Make Believe!
Our leaders are living in a childish make-believe world and are dragging the world into an arms race and a less secure Middle East, and an Israel which would become encircled by nuclear countries all wanting the demise of the Jewish people. How can we allow this make-believe agreement pushed by make-believe leaders to determine a world reality that could be devastating to everyone involved. No more make-believe. Let's deal only in reality. It's time to grow up!
