The home television is no longer just for watching movies and series; it has become the cultural centerpiece of the home with music listening and, of course, gaming. For me, this was one of the standout advantages I found in reviewing one of the TCL QLED Mini LED TVs.

I reviewed the 55-inch model from this series by TCL. The television is designed in a very modern style, or in other words, a large and beautiful screen in the center with an almost unnoticeable thin frame. The body itself is made of metal, with a very thin plastic back panel, which gives the device a very sleek and contemporary look. For those concerned about placement, the screen's legs are centrally located, so it will fit on most surfaces or, of course, can be wall-mounted.

But the most prominent advantages of the screen come in its advanced features, which are also reflected in the image quality. The screen reaches a brightness of up to 2,000 nits, so you get quality viewing even in a well-lit room. For gamers in the audience, in addition to 4K image quality, the television screen is equipped with advanced technologies to increase refresh rate so that you won't miss any important moments. Another important feature in the gaming world, if you're not playing with headphones, is the very good sound system on the screen - quality that is also evident when listening to songs through Spotify.

TCL screens come with the Google TV operating system, so you can download all the leading apps from Israel and around the world, including Yes Plus, Hot, Sting, Cellcom, Disney, and more, without the need for a converter and without an additional remote control. In addition, there are built-in apps for leading services such as Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video.

The most important thing that the screen brings, whether you prefer to play or watch movies, is amazing picture quality that makes great use of Dolby Vision IQ and supports HDR10+. Unlike older 4K screens, which struggled with low-quality broadcasting, the advanced technologies in this screen series allow AI to drastically improve image quality. The screen refresh rate, which makes use of MEMC technology, can range from 120 to 240Hz, allowing smooth and fast image processing. An intelligent AI system identifies the type of scene and adjusts the display accordingly. The TV identifies the content, whether it's a fast or slow scene, precise gaming, or intense sports competitions, and adjusts the image quality accordingly.

Additionally, there are many features that help with convenience and accessibility, such as personalized profiles for each family member, including a children's profile that can restrict viewing hours and content. There is also the option to give voice commands and conduct voice searches using Google Assistant, speaking to the screen and the remote control, and the option to connect a camera for video calls without the need for an external computer. Furthermore, you can share content from smart devices, laptops, and even split the screen into four parts for simultaneous viewing.

In terms of connectivity, it lacks nothing. It has 3 HDMI inputs, support for WIFI 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. The TV supports Dolby Atmos and comes with 2 USB ports, including a 3.0 USB port with a media player for videos, pictures, or music. Recommended consumer price is 4,330 shekels.
