Some have called the laptop, the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9, a classic case of a wolf in sheep's clothing, and I tend to agree. This beautiful laptop does not resemble a gaming computer at all in terms of size and weight. At first glance it looks like a classic business computer with a beautiful and strong aluminum body. But when you open the lid, you get a completely different picture.

First of all, it is a computer that is fun to carry from place to place, also because of its elegant appearance, but more importantly its compactness. The second thing that stands out as soon as you open the computer is the screen. The Yoga Pro 9 comes with a 14.5-inch mini LED screen, with a 3K resolution, with a 165Hz refresh rate and a wide color range. It is an amazing and bright visual display with a maximum brightness of up to 1,200 nits.

Another advantage of the screen is that it is touchscreen, and since this is a computer that will be involved in a lot of gaming, this is a serious bonus in terms of enjoyment as well as comfort and accessibility.

An interesting combination of design and performance can be seen in the laptop's speakers, which are located on the right and left sides of the computer's surface. On the one hand, it gives a nice look to the computer, and in terms of sound quality there are no complaints with good levels of high and medium sounds, at a loud enough noise level. One drawback is the quality of the bass, due to the thin structure of the device.

The Yoga Pro 9 comes with everything expected from a modern laptop computer, including two USB-A ports, and wireless communication with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1. Unfortunately, there is no fingerprint scanner. It is also equipped with a 5 megapixel web camera on the computer and a multi-microphone array that improves the video call experience.

In terms of technical specifications, the Yoga Pro 9 is a real beast. It is equipped with a 13th generation Intel Core i9 processor, 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and an RTX 4070 graphics card with 8GB of memory. In terms of performance, you get above average results, and considering the constraints that the size of a computer has on the performance of the processor and video card, there are no complaints. It copes well with racing games, shooters and many other action titles, without a noticeable decrease in the frame rate. In addition, you can edit and play with 4K resolution files without many problems. The computer heats up under high load, like most gaming computers, but as long as you have a comfortable surface it is not a problem.

Of course, the battery will also drain as the workload, or rather the games, increases, but the time for a full charge is only about 3 hours, so this is not a serious problem. Bottom line, the Yoga Pro 9 meets a variety of needs for the modern gamer, who doesn't need the most powerful machine on the market - it's small, versatile, beautiful and powerful enough to run most of your favorite games.

Recommended price for the consumer is NIS 11,785.
