Over the weekend part of the "Big Sur" coastal road in California crumbled into the ocean, this after part of a cliff broke up and slid down. Part of the road remains closed until further notice.

Following the road closure, all parks in the "Big Sur" area are closed "until further notice", the California Department of Parks and Recreation announced.

Park closures include Piper Big Sur State Park, Andrew Molera State Park, Limekill State Park, Julia Piper Burns State Park and Point Sur State Historic Park.

Those who have already ordered a campaign in the area will be able to claim a refund.
