An Israeli delegation in the field of sports technologies, which includes 11 Israeli companies, will be hosted next week in Germany, where its members will meet with representatives from five senior clubs in the Bundesliga, including Bayern Munich, Stuttgart, Hoffenheim and Frankfurt.

The Israeli companies participating in the delegation, organized by the Export Institute under the leadership of the Economic Annex in Munich Doron Hamo, will present new technologies in the field of sports-tech to the German football clubs.

One of these companies is ViTAs Labs, which has developed a cognitive training system for soccer players that allows them to develop and improve their scanning, spatial understanding, and decision-making abilities. Dror Porat, one of the founders of the company, explains that "the system operates in two applications.

The first is for the team of coaches who effortlessly produce 2D scenarios through it on a touch screen device, similar to using a traditional whiteboard. These 2D scenarios are automatically transformed into experiences ready for VR 3D Observed through VR goggles by players from their unique perspectives. Within those scenarios the players have to make decisions according to the scenarios created by the coaches."

Porat and his co-founder of the company, Ili Omer, hope that the visit will open a door to German football for them. "We are embarking on an exciting journey with the Israeli Sport Tech delegation to Germany, where we will have a unique opportunity to foster collaboration and innovation in football technology, to bridge the gap between Israel's vibrant technology scene and Germany's rich football heritage. We are eager to immerse ourselves in the world of football technology, and to explore State-of-the-art solutions that promise to elevate player performance and training methodologies to new heights. Our deep belief in the transformative power of technology fuels our confidence in our ability to revolutionize the football industry," they say.
