Just weeks before its annual developer conference (WWDC), Apple couldn't hold back, announcing another online event on May 7 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (17:00 Israel Time), viewable via Apple's website, Apple TV app, and YouTube.

As usual, Apple keeps details about the event under wraps, but the accompanying image hints strongly: a hand holding the Apple Pencil over the colorful and stylish Apple logo. A clear indication that the event will focus on iPad innovations.

For months, rumors have circulated that Apple plans a significant refresh of its iPad Pro and iPad Air product lines in May. Reports suggest an iPad Pro with a new OLED screen and powerful M3 chip, alongside a new 12.9-inch iPad Air equipped with the M2 chip.

Additionally, a new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro and a new Apple Pencil may also be revealed at the event. It's been over two years since the last iPad Air update and a year and a half since the launch of the iPad Pro models with the M2 chip, so both lines are due for significant updates.
