25-year-old pedestrian seriously hurt in near-deadly car game near Netivot

A 25-year-old woman was seriously injured on Saturday evening when she was hit by a car on Route 25, near Netivot. Emergency workers evacuated her to Beersheba's Soroka Hospital. From an initial investigation it arose that the woman had fallen victim to a near-deadly game. A driver and a passenger in another car had apparently been attempting to hold hands through the car windows while traveling at high speed, when one car swerved and hit the woman. The offending driver fled in the direction of Ashkelon, but was apprehended and arrested shortly afterwards. Police also detained three others, all in their twenties, for questioning.
