Ahmadinejad on state TV: Iran cannot be isolated over nuclear program

Iran continued snubbing the world Tuesday, two days after defiantly announcing a decision to build ten uranium enrichment facilities in the face of international consensus against its nuclear program. "Talking about isolating Iran [over its nuclear work] is a psychological war launched by the West ... Iran is a unique country ... and no country can isolate it," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on state television, in comments carried by the Reuters news agency. Last week the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) passed a resolution on censuring Iran for constructing a second uranium enrichment plant near Qom without notifying the agency. Iran's other enrichment facility, at Natanz, is monitored by IAEA inspectors.
