All Gaza border crossing opened despite escalation

Israel continued on Sunday to facilitate the transfer of supplies to the Gaza Strip, allowing 200 trucks into the Hamas-controlled territory despite the ongoing rocket attacks.

Sources in the office of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) said that Israel was prepared to also facilitate the insertion of international donations to Gaza if such requests were received.

COGAT Maj.-Gen. Eitan Dangot has instructed his officers to closely monitor the humanitarian situation in Gaza in order to prevent a deterioration, which could be caused by the ongoing fighting.
