Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked has instructed the Population and Immigration Authority to grant entry into the country to Russians with Israeli spouses even if they themselves do not have citizenship or an entry visa, Haaretz reported on Tuesday.
According to the new directive, Russian partners will be allowed entry even if they are not registered as married to an Israeli in the country, as long as they can provide official marriage documentation from elsewhere.
