Israeli pop star and Eurovision 2023 representative Noa Kirel will star at Madison Square Garden in New York in June 2024, Israeli media reported on Tuesday.

Kirel’s management has reportedly been in talks with the venue for the past two months in an effort to book the prestigious arena and now an advance payment has been paid and a date has been agreed upon for Kirel’s debut in the US.

The concert is set to take place on June 30, 2024.

Sources close to Kirel told Ynet that the pop star hopes that the concert will help boost her international recognition, stating “This is the time to try with all our might for an international career, Noa and her team believe that it is possible to succeed. Without taking risks, it’s impossible to go far.”

Ishay Ribo to be first Israeli singer to perform at Madison Square Garden's main hall

The announcement of Kirel’s concert at Madison Square Garden comes about a month before Ishay Ribo is set to hold a concert at the main hall of the venue, becoming the first Israeli singer to do so. Ribo’s concert is set to take place on September 3 this year.

The announcement also comes as Kirel is set to hold two sold-out concerts at the Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv in late September.
